We tried this conversion optimizer in one of our account in the hope of getting less cost per acquisition. So we turned off CPC bidding and turned on CPA bidding. Initially we got very less cost per acquisition than we are getting when we used cpc. But suddenly something is wrong from few days, i am seeing less conversions and more cost per acquisition. So have again gone back to a CPC based model.

Hmm.. Conversion Optimizer seems to be quite a promising tool. I guess, with conversion optimizer, one will have a clearer perspective of the costs of certain campaigns. And compared to CPC, this could really mean more profit in the long run.
