Feel free to copy and paste from this. There are around 11,000 negative keywords on the spreadsheet. Most people should find some of the columns useful to add as negative keywords at the campaign or ad group levels or as shared negative keywords lists :-
On desktop, on Firefox and Chrome – it currently looks like this for me –
Though in Internet Explorer it looks a wee bit different.
If the above persuades less people to click on organic results (if they are visible at all) then expect the new format to stay…read more
I was hoping to boast about how many negatives this Google Sheet now contains by doing something simple like clicking on ‘File’, ‘Properties’ but it turns out that it’s not simple….So, anyway, after copying and pasting the whole sheet into LibreOffice Writer, I can tell you that there are approximately 11,000 negatives.

If you can export to Ireland (as in the part of Ireland that uses Euro as a currency not the other part which uses GBP as currency), and haven’t set this up already, it’s worth doing so.
Here’s last 30 days for a quite niche shopping campaign :-
Here’s another one:-
This is something that puzzled me for a while. This AdWords account only had a single Search campaign in it and had never been opted in to the Display Network.
I contacted AdWords support and they confirmed that I wasn’t going mad, and it was a technical problem :-
“You are absolutely correct – this campaign has had no Display/Video ads at all. The conversions we saw (view through conversions) were inaccurate data being reported in the AdWords for Search campaigns like the one in your account due to a technical error at our system’s end. This inaccurate data go back as far as 30 days from November 2nd. So, if you set the date range from Nov 3 – till today (any time after November 3), you will see zero view through conversions as a result of this error being fixed by our engineering team.”
So if you find view through conversions valuable on any of your campaigns, it’s probably worth contacting support to see how much they have been over-reported by in the 30 days prior to November 3rd 2016.
Also – it does make me more than slightly uneasy about what other reporting problems may have occurred in the past that I wasn’t informed about… :-(read more
Today for some reason they have started making it very difficult to find this number from within AdWords. Don’t ask me how long this will last for or how many people it will affect, but if you have a genuine AdWords problem and can’t easily find the phone number, here it is !

Well, shopping ads are not showing in the search results yet, but you *can* prepare and submit a Google Shopping feed now for ‘Down South’ in Google Merchant Center, and they should start showing ‘soon’.
Google support currently don’t know when ‘soon’ is, but it doesn’t look like we are talking 2017 (hopefully), which is good since the current weakness of GBP has made exporting to other English speaking countries more important than ever if you are located in the UK.
Update – 27th October, 2016 – I have now seen some impressions in the wild for Google IRL Shoppnig campaigns. I’m still not seeing a shopping tab in the Google search results on google.ie so I sent an email to support to see what the situation was. Here is their reply –
I’m finally starting to see this option now on some of my accounts.
The only down side is that if the vast majority of the demographic is ‘unknown’ it isn’t going to as much of an advantage as it could have been!
Hopefully this will improve given time…
