On one hand, I am glad to have passed this, and it does show that I know *something* about video advertising, but… this exam is, without question, the stupidest, least practical of all the Google exams. It is filled with ambiguous questions, misleading questions, subjective questions, and I’m fairly sure at least one or 2 answers that are plain wrong (or not up to date anyway).
On the client side, AdWords seems to be working fine, but there have a lot of mutterings of discontent from PPC professionals of late on twitter about performance problems when managing AdWords accounts (in different countries).

OK – so I got 6 wrong – but I only spent 27 minutes on it! (And the likelihood of me managing Youtube home page mastheads at a few hundred thousand pounds a day are a little bit unlikely anyway).
Here’s the updated Google Partners profile – https://www.google.co.uk/partners/?hl=en-GB#a_profile;idtf=4971344434;
I guess I’ll have to get round to sitting the new video advertising exam soon too…read more
